Lamb of Peace, Lamb of War

Gen. James Green

O UR BIBLE mentions Jesus as the “Lamb of God” in 31 places; 26 are found in Revelation. Revelation obviously carries the theme, prophetically speaking, about the future of mankind.

The Voice and the Vision

STARTING IN REV. 1, we get introduced to Apocalypse prophecy; in the Greek language, the word apocalupsis is translated “revelation.” The book is an apocalypse with regard to the nature of its content, a prophecy in respect to its message, and an epistle in relation to its addresses. It features the risen Christ’s role as the “worthy lamb” who was slain (chapter 5), and the “wrathful lamb” who is coming back to judge the world and purge it of evil (chapters 6-19).

The book’s second main section (4:1-11:19) contains visions of things in Heaven and on earth concerning the “Lamb” and His role in the outcome of history. The vision begins with a majestic court of Heaven where God sits enthroned in Holiness and Light (chapter 4). Chapter 5 focuses on a sealed scroll of destiny in God’s right hand, and on the “Lamb,” who alone is worthy to break its seals and reveal its contents…so goes the book of Revelation.

At the very end, John sees Heaven opened and the risen/glorified Jesus Christ riding forth on a white horse as THE King of kings and Lord of lords…coming to make war (19:11-21).

Astounding Truth!

WE CONCLUDE that the earthly Jesus Christ and the Heavenly Jesus Christ are one and the same. By this I mean that the “LAMB OF GOD” and the “LION OF GOD” (Rev. 5:5) are ONE AND THE SAME. 5:6 describes Him as, “a Lamb as it had been slain…” This earthly Jesus—as the Lamb of God, gave Himself for sinful man (John 3:16, 17) so we can find eternal life. We can rightly say that Jesus was both “Lamb,” and “Lion,” i.e., salvation and damnation, peace and wrath.

The Jesus of the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) was not any different from the Revelation Jesus in character. He was the “Lamb of God” who would take away the sin of the world (John 1:29, 36). Peter tells us we are redeemed/brought back from (spiritual) death, “with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot,” and that He “was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest (revealed) in these last times for you” (1 Peter 1:19, 20).

Revelation 13:8 similarly refers to, as often translated, “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” that is, from Adam/Eve’s time when society began.

Radical Revolution

JESUS LIVED when Israel was wholly given to all kinds of sin—as societies are today. Jesus demonstrated not the “Lamb” side of His character in John 2:13-17, but His “Lion” side when He began to cleanse the temple. This WRATHFUL! act was the first great public act of Jesus’ ministry...and the last great public act (Matthew 21:12-17; Mark, 11:15-17).

For all you “Candy Store Jesus” worshippers [Babylonian Churchites], you had better study His life more clearly. The Jesus who sat little children on His lap, was the same Jesus that in BLAZING ANGER drove from the temple the ungodly, the greedy, and those who were defiling its true spiritual purpose. His double cleansing of the temple during his three-year ministry indicates just how important His ministry was, and is: holiness, sanctification, and godly sincerity within the Church/Ekklesia (see John 17:17, 19). Jesus died that He “might sanctify and cleanse it…that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:25-27). Christ requires true Spirit worship, but in today’s Politically Correct Church, we find the exact opposite. We find men/women the center of worship, not the Father/Christ Jesus. We find all manner of sex-sins accepted...and even celebrated! What we do not find is true prayer or true communion with the Father or Son; nor do we find the Holy Spirit in operation. The modern Church has no need of the ministry of the Spirit, for they are RULED by the Jezebel Spirit of the devil.

What is really missing in today’s Churches is the Father-Son-Holy Ghost. Without them, the sincere love for their redemptive purpose and plan for man is annulled. Without a consuming “zeal” for the righteousness/holiness of God’s house and Kingdom, SIN-SELF-SATAN will rule!

Essential to ALL TRUE Christian ministry is PROTEST/REVOLUTION against both those who profane and degrade His House, as well as the SIN. All this nugatory “tolerance,” “inclusiveness,” and “acceptance” belongs on the DUNG HEAP!!

Either we will allow the “Lion of Judah” into our assemblies to purge out deceit, mockery, immorality, secularization, and desecration, or we continue to play the religious WHORE and perish!

Was Jesus Christ, A radical, fanatical, zealous extremist?

ZEAL: great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective

ZEALOT: a person who is fanatical and uncompromising in pursuit of their religious, political, or other ideals

EXTREMIST: a person who holds extreme or fanatical political or religions views, esp. one who resorts to or advocates extreme action

FANATIC: a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal

RADICAL: a person who advocates thorough or complete political or social reform

If one studies the life of Jesus the Christ, one will find all the above in His person and ministry. How is it that the Church insists that Jesus was some sort of passive effeminate mush-mouth?...we don’t find Him that way in Scripture. He was and is a REVOLUTIONARY; His actions were revolutionary. His Words/actions were, yes, loving and tolerant, but the other side of Jesus was like FIRE and Brimstone. He zealously denounced both SIN, and the sinner, as well as zealously defending the innocent, downtrodden, etc.

His disciples followed His example. They too were both loving and wrathful, never “loving” alone. Their words/actions were, at times, EXTREME.

What About You?

ONE WRITER had this to say:

If modern Christians really followed the example of Jesus Christ, how would it effect our lifestyle? How socially, politically or religiously correct would we be?

Few Christians desire to really live their life like Jesus did, because Jesus was too radical, fanatical, zealous and extreme for our comfort zone. We don’t want to be rejected, despised, spit on, mocked, humiliated, beaten or killed, so we adapt a lifestyle that is safe, more comfortable, and not so extreme. We want our light to shine a little, but we don’t want to be labeled an extremist.

We like the benefits of our Christian eternal retirement plan, but living a fanatical life here on earth isn’t our preference...so we tell ourselves that Jesus doesn’t really want us to follow Him in all of His extreme, radical and fanatical ways. (End Quote)

WIMPS will not represent the true Historical Jesus today.

Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 4:10:

“We are thought of as fools because of Christ.

But you are thought of as wise Christians!

We are weak. You are strong.

People respect you.

They have no respect for us.”

Paul called himself a fool for Christ. He rejected the ‘American dream’ as his purpose for living. He chose a life of self-denial and spreading the message of God’s love. Like Jesus, he chose to be a truth & love radical, fanatical, zealous extremist.

The Holy Spirit is trying to move us out of our comfort zone.

I KNOW A FEW, A PRECIOUS FEW WHO HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE AND INTO THE WAR ZONE.

What about you? Are you willing to be persecuted for the name of Jesus? Are you willing to “endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2 Tim. 2:3)?

So much of human experience is defined by hardness and suffering. Why does the modern Church expect to bypass this? Peace and harmony and goodwill among nations today is MISSING!!

You say, “God is love” (1 John 4:8), and I agree. But LOVE IS NOT ALWAYS MANIFEST IN A PEACEFUL MANNER. NO! Hebrews 12:7 explains it like this: “If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?” Verse 8 continues, “But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.” Here we have a classic conditional syllogism, which begins with an “if-then” statement. The “if” clause=the antecedent; the “then” clause=the consequent.

With all this said, LET US PROCEED TO THE FRONTLINES OF BATTLE. The WAR to rid Christianity—Biblical Christianity—is well underway. The forces of Hell are RAGING. The “alternative government” in the intelligence community wants president Trump OUT; his pro-Christian stance is subverting the “Psychopathic Left.” Their agenda is well known today—to have a One World Government without God or Christianity. This naturally involves us.

The “Purple Revolution” supported by the Clintons/Obamas/SOROS (the Bush family behind the scenes) is well underway. They are out for blood...literally!!

Let Hell rage, WE STAND FIRM AND STAND UP FOR JESUS. This is our generation—the “Revolution” generation—we mount up the offensive, we raise up a counter-revolutionary force. We take on the “Lion of Judah” characteristics, and at the same time we pray for the salvation of those who are on the WRONG side—the LEFT!!

WARNING!

THE SPIRIT has spoken to us more than once (in the past year) that if America does not repent of its sins—Church and state—that He is going to bring terror that we have not experienced before as a nation. It could come in the way of nuclear war (from Russia?) or from enemies (the “Left”?) from within. It could even come from the Islamic world [maybe even a plague?] etc. He never told us what, when, or how, but that it surely WILL COME if America refuses to REPENT.

So, we who know the Lord keep repenting, keeping fighting, and keep praying.
